Gamers needn’t worry about Cyberpunk 2077 or Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 being Epic Games store exclusives.

CD Projekt RED previously stated they want Cyberpunk 2077 to be available on as many platforms as possible, and now Hardsuit Labs and Paradox Interactive’s Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has also distanced itself from an exclusivity deal with the Epic Games store.

There has been a lot of outrage surrounding the Epic Games store thanks to the fiascos with Metro Exodus and Borderlands 3.

To make matters worse, there has also been fake rumours such as Red Dead Redemption 2 forever being exclusive to the Epic Games store.

But, while The Outer Worlds, Control, and Borderlands 3 have officially made themselves exclusive to the Epic Games store at launch, fans needn’t worry about Cyberpunk 2077 or Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2.

Cyberpunk 2077 and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 won’t be exclusive to the Epic Games store

With The Outer Worlds and Control having been declared timed exclusives for the Epic Games store on PC at launch, it’s only natural that gamers are anxious about a similar fate awaiting their most anticipated titles (especially with Randy Pitchford saying he’s “kind of happy” about 2K’s agreement with Epic for Borderlands 3).

However, fans needn’t worry about Cyberpunk 2077 and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 as the respected developers have distanced themselves from exclusivity deals with Epic.

CD Projekt RED’s global community lead, Marcin Momot, tweeted on March 21 that the developer’s “goal is to make Cyberpunk 2077 available to as many gamers as possible on their platform of choice.”

As for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, the game’s official Twitter account provided an update saying the title will be available on the Paradox Store, GOG, Epic and Steam, along with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

There’s no official release date for either game, but there are rumours which suggest Cyberpunk 2077 could come out this year. Meanwhile, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is scheduled to launch early 2020.
