Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Ben Osborn against Rotherham United.
Osborn featured for Forest in their Championship game against Rotherham away from home on Saturday afternoon.
The 24-year-old - who can operate as a midfielder or as a left-back - started the match and played for 76 minutes, as the Reds won 2-1.
A midfielder by trade, Osborn has been playing at left-back, and against Rotherham, he was deployed in the same position again.
Osborn struggled to make an impact on the game, failed to go forward much, and did not look very comfortable at the back.
Against Rotherham on Saturday afternoon, the 24-year-old had a pass accuracy of 60.7%, won one header, and made two tackles, according to WhoScored.
So far this season, Osborn has made 26 starts and nine substitute appearances in the Championship for Forest so far this season, scoring one goal and providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Forest fans were not impressed with the display produced by Osborn, and have criticised him and manager Martin O’Neill for playing the 24-year-old at left-back on Twitter.

Lots of talk about MON & AK etc-poor but what about the players? Pantillimon, Osborn, Murphy, Colback, Robinson, Watson & the rest with zero pace-piss poor stealing a living-same as Majewski & Blackstock et al-completely different buying plan required!#nffc— Marcus Lee (@marconffc) April 6, 2019
Lol....he will play in goal next week..— sukhforest (@sukhforest) April 6, 2019
Wish I knew! But I’d love to know why Osborn has to play, even if it’s out of position at the expense of one of our best players. One way or the other, he must start. Very odd.— Stu (@stuuuuu_nffc) April 6, 2019
Cash and Osborn must be awesome in training. Truly woeful today along with other bit part players. MON is out his depth, plan A changes game to game and plan B is about as good as Pearce’s was. #nffc— NFFC-TruthHurts (@NffcTruthhurts) April 6, 2019
Don't think I'll ever understand why you'd play Osborn at LB ahead of Robinson. Appreciate if someone could explain the logic, that'd be great. #nffc— Neil Cooper (@mynameisneil) April 6, 2019
As bad as a away performance I’ve been too.— East Midland Reds © (@IlkestonRed) April 6, 2019
Yohan & Osborn borderline embarrassing today.
MON has to go #nffc
Utter dross today. MON is clueless. Osborn in defence is an utter liability #nffc— JoJo (@jo_sephino) April 6, 2019
Wague didn't score, so can we put Milosevic back in defence next game? And bring Robinson back, too. Osborn was awful. #nffc— Hannah Forest (@hannahforest) April 6, 2019
