Newcastle United fans react on Twitter to DeAndre Yedlin's display against Crystal Palace

Newcastle United were beaten 1-0 by Crystal Palace at St. James’ Park yesterday.

Newcastle United fans have slated DeAndre Yedlin for his performance against Crystal Palace yesterday.

Newcastle were beaten 1-0 by Palace, with Yedlin at fault for giving away the decisive penalty.

The Magpies’ defender charged into Wilfried Zaha and tripped the tricky winger up in the box.

Luka Milivojevic went on to score from the spot, to stop Newcastle earning at least a point.

And Newcastle fans appear to have had enough of Yedlin’s erratic defending.

Yedlin’s been our weak link almost two years now and people never wanted to admit it because he has pace and athleticism. May as well give Manquillo a go now #NUFC

Newcastle’s defeat ended their five match winning run at St. James’ Park, and means that they still have work to do to stay up.

Newcastle are currently seven points clear of the drop zone, and may need at least one more victory to confirm their safety.
