Newcastle United were beaten 1-0 by Crystal Palace at St. James' Park yesterday.

Newcastle United fans have slated DeAndre Yedlin for his performance against Crystal Palace yesterday.
Newcastle were beaten 1-0 by Palace, with Yedlin at fault for giving away the decisive penalty.
The Magpies’ defender charged into Wilfried Zaha and tripped the tricky winger up in the box.
Luka Milivojevic went on to score from the spot, to stop Newcastle earning at least a point.
And Newcastle fans appear to have had enough of Yedlin’s erratic defending.
Yedlin’s been our weak link almost two years now and people never wanted to admit it because he has pace and athleticism. May as well give Manquillo a go now #NUFC

Couldn’t agree more, been saying this to my son for months, couldn’t cross if his life depended on it, plays it back or infield #nobbysolano

Don’t like pointing the finger at #NUFC players but we’re desperate for a right back. Yedlin really isn’t good enough. Saw that penalty happening all day. Killed what was a decent performance from us.

The biggest issue with yedlin is that along with being an atrocious footballer, he has absolutely no brains. He had one job there. Don't lunge into Zaha. Rafa would have warned the team before the game as well #NUFC

Yedlin is a liability

Own goals, mistakes, penalties conceded, red cards all in his locker and on full display #NUFC
1. I said in the first half we wasted to many chances, it’ll come back to bite us.

2. Yedlin. Not good enough. Need another right back.
3. I have no problem with Rafa coming out in the press and saying they aren’t close in negotiations. In fact I highly encourage it. #nufc
Yedlin is a 100 meter sprinter at best #nufc

Would happily see Manqueilo at RB instead of that liability Yedlin for remaining games #nufc

Newcastle’s defeat ended their five match winning run at St. James’ Park, and means that they still have work to do to stay up.
Newcastle are currently seven points clear of the drop zone, and may need at least one more victory to confirm their safety.
