Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino led his side to victory in their first game at the new stadium in midweek.

Spurs spent more than first anticipated in creating their new home, with Daniel Levy wanting to ensure his side’s stadium was completed to a high standard.
Tottenham new ground has received huge praise from almost every visitor so far, with fans, players and the media all dazzled by the quality of the stadium.
But Nicholas feels that Tottenham may have made an error investing so much money on their new home.
He said: “It’s still too much money. It’s a fortune. I congratulate them on what they’ve built, it looks fantastic. They’ve still got to fill it though.
“I think they had to borrow £100 million to cover the loans. The overheads are £500+ million and staying in the Champions League is important.”

Tottenham did win their first game at their new stadium, as they got past the challenge of Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening.
Spurs were the dominant force in the contest, with Heung-Min Son and Christian Eriksen getting their names on the scoresheet.
The victory pushed Tottenham back up to third in the Premier League table, as they look to protect their place in the top four.
Spurs are next in action at their new home on Tuesday evening when they take on Manchester City in the Champions League.
