Crystal Palace are facing a challenge holding on to influential midfielder Luka Milivojevic with AC Milan looking at the Serbian powerhouse, according to Calciomercato.

The £13 million fee Palace paid Olympiakos for Milivojevic in January 2017 (the Mirror) has proven to be worth every penny with the 27-year-old establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s most impressive yet underrated central midfielders at Selhurst Park.

He has scored ten times in the top flight this season with the majority coming from the penalty spot. So Crystal Palace fans will undoubtedly be fretting about the fact that Milovojevic is out of contract in 2020.

According to Calciomercato, Roy Hodgson’s side may be forced to cash in on one of their star men in the summer to avoid losing him on a free next year.

The report claims that Serie A giants AC Milan are keen to bring Milivojevic to the San Siro, believing that his physicality could really enhance their options in the engine room.

Interestingly, Calciomercato adds that Milivojevic could replace Franck Kessie, the Ivorian international who is facing an uncertain future due to interest from Palace’s London neighbours Tottenham Hotspur, as reported by Tuttomercatoweb.

Spurs have apparently contacted Kessie’s agent ahead of a potential summer switch.
