Erik Bugarin could reportedly swap La Liga for the Championship with Tony Pulis’s Boro interested in the Celta Vigo forward.

Middlesbrough are interested in signing Celta Vigo starlet Erik Bugarin this summer, according to local publication Faro de Vigo.
Celta have one of the most impressive academies in Spanish football with the likes of Rodrigo Moreno, Jonny Castro Otto, Iago Aspas and current club captain Hugo Mallo rising through the ranks in Andalusia.
And the highly rated Bugarin has been tipped to follow in their footsteps, if he stays in Spain that is. Faro de Vigo reports that the youngster has caught the eye of clubs from outside of his homeland with Middlesbrough keen to bring him to the Riverside.
A teenage forward, Bugarin would be joining an impressive array of Spaniards who have represented Boro over the years, including former internationals Gaizka Mendietta, Victor Valdes and Alvaro Negredo.

Celta are also facing a headache over the future of another of their young talents with Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur keen on Yago de Santiago. La Liga champions Barcelona, meanwhile, are big fans of Damian Canedo.
Tony Pulis’s Boro side have fallen down to eighth in the Championship table after a 1-0 home defeat to play-off rivals Bristol City on Tuesday.
