Tottenham Hotspur are again being linked with Youri Tielemans.

According to Het Laatste Nieuws in Belgium, Tottenham Hotspur are still pursuing Leicester City loanee Youri Tielemans ahead of the summer transfer window.
After just one point in the last five league games, Spurs are in danger of season their season peter out, and it couldn’t be clearer that Mauricio Pochettino needs some signings this summer.
It’s over a year since Spurs last brought in a new face, and Tottenham need reinforcements to both strengthen and freshen up the squad, with a midfielder absolutely imperative.
Mousa Dembele left for China in January and wasn’t replaced, but HLN now claim that Spurs remain interested in signing his fellow Belgian Tielemans as a replacement.
Tielemans has picked up a goal and three assists in just seven games for Leicester City since joining on loan from Monaco in January, underlining his huge quality and potential.
The 21-year-old has become a firm fan favourite at Leicester, and his impressive box-to-box displays have showcased exactly why Spurs should be looking at him to replace Dembele.

Leicester have been told to pay €45million (£40million) to sign Tielemans permanently, which would be a huge outlay, and HLN note that Spurs and Manchester United are considering hijacking the move.
It would be quite the turnaround if Spurs did that, as The Telegraph reported in January that Daniel Levy had sanctioned a deal for Tottenham to sign Tielemans, and was only waiting for Pochettino to accept the move – but that never happened as the midfield maestro joined Leicester instead.
Maybe Pochettino wanted to see Tielemans in Premier League action elsewhere before making a move, but whatever the reason was, he should be a top target for Tottenham this summer having shown his quality with the Foxes.
