West Ham United were soundly beaten by Everton yesterday.

West Ham man Aaron Cresswell spoke exclusively to the club’s official website after his side’s woeful performance against Everton yesterday, and shared what Manuel Pellegrini told the players during the half-time interval.
The Hammers missed out on the chance to climb up into seventh spot in the Premier League table yesterday, and instead slipped down to 11th in the standings.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side have been nothing if not inconsistent this season, and yesterday’s performance against the Toffees was arguably their worst of the entire campaign thus far.
Cresswell spoke exclusively to the club’s official website after the game, and admitted that West Ham were simply not good enough, whilst sharing the message that Pellegrini gave his players at half-time:

“It was a bad day at the office. Everton fully deserved the win. We weren’t good enough throughout the whole game. It was three on the bounce we won, and against Huddersfield we were 3-1 down, and then we came back to win the game. The manager said that to us at half-time, about that game, but it wasn’t to be.”
West Ham now face an incredibly tough run of fixtures, with away games against Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur all to come in their next four matches.
And the Hammers will have to improve drastically upon their performance yesterday, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of taking anything from those games.
