HITC Sport understands Aberdeen star Graham Shinnie is weighing up offers from two Championship clubs.
Championship duo Sheffield United and Bristol City are leading the chase to sign Aberdeen captain Graham Shinnie on a free transfer this summer, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Shinnie is out of contract at Aberdeen in the summer and has been able to talk to other clubs since January.
Shinnie, who joined Aberdeen from Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 2015, has established himself as a key player at Pittodrie under Derek McInnes and his performances have brought him to him to the attention of a number of clubs in England and Scotland.
A number of English Championship clubs have expressed an interest in signing the all-action midfielder and HITC Sport understands Shinnie is now set to choose between Sheffield United and Bristol City as to where he will be playing next season.
Sheffield United and Bristol City are big admirers of Shinnie as versatility to play at left back and in central midfield makes him an appealing proposition to both clubs as they look to bolster their squads for next season.
Aberdeen were hoping to persuade Shinnie to remain at Pittodrie beyond this summer, but it appears the midfielder is set for a move to England as Sheffield United and Bristol City battle it out for his signature.
