Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to sign another PSG player, the Ligue 1 winning left-back Layvin Kurzawa.

Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Layvin Kurzawa has issued a brutal response to his critics as he aims to rebuild his reputation, while speaking in an explosive interview with Canal Football Club.

The 2018/19 season has been a difficult one for Kurzawa, who has found first-team opportunities hard to come by at Paris Saint-Germain since Thomas Tuchel took over at the Ligue 1 champions last summer.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss has favoured Spaniard Juan Bernat at left-back, meaning Kurzawa has made just 10 appearances throughout the campaign.

None of those came in the Champions League, highlighting a lack of belief on Tuchel’s part in the former Monaco flyer.

As a result, Kurzawa has found himself written off by many critics while Calciomercato believes that PSG could cash in on the 26-year-old, with Tottenham rumoured to be interested in reuniting him with Lucas Moura and Serge Aurier in North London.

But Kurzawa clearly feels that the criticism is unjust.

“I was young and I was criticised a lot. Today, people speak, but I really don’t give a s*** actually. People are there to speak, people like you (points to the reporters), that doesn’t affect me anymore,” said Kurzawa, who made his first appearance for France since 2017 during the current international break.

“I was seen as a stupid idiot, even though I am not one. I made mistakes when I was young, mistakes that many players were able to make apart from me.

“I am a top quality player, quite simply.”

If Tottenham do want to sign a third PSG player this summer, they would likely have to pay around £22 million, according to RMC Sport.

Clearly, they would be getting a man with plenty to prove.
