Grealish, 23, has starred for Villa this season, notching four goals and five assists whilst producing some sensational performances of late.
Grealish needs a move to the top flight in order to play Premier League football though, and it's widely expected that he will move on if Villa don't sneak into the Premier League through the playoffs.
The report adds that Spurs face a surprise battle though, as Bournemouth as well as London rivals West Ham United are interested in signing Grealish too.
A move for Grealish would be something of a surprise, given that West Ham already have to figure out the best way to jam both Felipe Anderson and Manuel Lanzini into the side, and adding Grealish wouldn't exactly help that problem.
Manuel Pellegrini may still feel that Grealish can bring some added creativity to the West Ham side amid question marks over Samir Nasri's future, and Spurs may now face a real battle with an unlikely contender for Grealish's signature.
