Glasgow Rangers fans have expressed their excitement ahead of Jordan Jones’ move to Ibrox in the summer.

A number of Rangers fans praised Jordan Jones after the Gers-bound winger took to Twitter to express his delight at helping his country to two wins in two games during the international break.

Jones started both of Northern Ireland’s Euro 2020 qualifiers, and helped Michael O’Neill’s side get their campaign off to a flyer with two victories from two.

Northern Ireland beat Estonia 2-0 on Thursday and followed that up with a dramatic 2-1 win against Belarus on Sunday night to leave themselves top of a group that includes the Netherlands and Germany.

Jones caused all sorts of problems across the two games, using his skill to create openings. He certainly looked to be back to his best at times, which proved to be too much for the opposition full-backs on certain occasions.

And with Rangers pair Steven Davis and Kyle Lafferty sharing the stage with the winger on international duty, it is little surprise that many of the Ibrox faithful had their eye on how the 24-year-old got on.

Jones has already agreed to join Rangers in the summer, and judging by the response to his tweet after the win against Belarus, it appears that many of the Gers fans hope that they see the wide-man producing those kind of performances once he links up with Steven Gerrard’s men at the end of the season.
