Team Talk has reported that Liverpool are already ready to sever ties with Naby Keita.
The Guinea international has endured a terrible first season at Anfield following a £52 million move last summer.
Keita has only managed 20 minutes of football under Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp over the past five weeks, having earned a brief run in the first XI prior to that.
But Team Talk claims that Klopp is willing to offload the 24-year-old for around £40 million - and adds that German duo Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have already 'held talks' with Keita's agent over bringing the former Leipzig star back to the Bundesliga.
Here's how Reds fans reacted to the report:

He has a lot to prove but he has so much talent and potential, would be such a waste— Alisson the don (@alissonthedon) March 24, 2019
As if we're willing to offload Naby Keita. Watch him shine next season.— kop in full voice (@LFC_Bantz) March 24, 2019

Give him a chance he needs a run of games— Craig Williams (@williamscraig85) March 24, 2019
It does seem quite illogical, it must be said.
Klopp wouldn't throw in the towel after Keita's first nine months in the Premier League. It can be a difficult league to adapt to and the German manager will be keeping that in mind.
If we're honest, Liverpool have worse players in the squad and frankly it makes no sense to offload Keita when other players have survived the chop for years now.
