Seven-time Bundesliga winner David Alaba has admitted he was a fan of Premier League powerhouses Arsenal.

David Alaba has Arsenal fans dreaming.
One of the world’s very best full-backs, the Austrian superstar has been one of the first names on Bayern Munich’s team sheet for almost a decade now, winning seven Bundesliga titles and establishing himself as a truly elite talent during that trophy-laden era of Pep Guardiola.
It seems like Alaba has been around forever but, at the age of 26, he still has another five or six years at the top of the European game. And if he should ever fancy a change of scenery, he would be welcome at The Emirates with open arms.
“I’m happy in Munich but of course I can imagine something else [in the future],” the six-time Austrian Footballer of the Year told Sport Bild’s Phrasen Maher podcast.

“I was [and Arsenal fan as a child]. When you’ve been Arsenal fan as a kid you will be one your whole life in some way.”
Now, there is no suggestion that Bayern would even think about parting with Alaba right now with the left-back set to be a key part of their transition from one era to another under Niko Kovac.
But if the 2013 Champions League winner was to consider his future, Arsenal should not think twice about making his childhood dream come true.
