Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing the Fiorentina ace.

According to a report from Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport, Liverpool will have to pay €100 million (£86 million) if they want to sign Fiorentina ace Federico Chiesa in the summer.

FC Inter news claimed last week that the Reds are keen on signing the 21-year-old, with Jürgen Klopp thought to be desperate to bolster his attacking options at Anfield ahead of next season.

Chiesa is a right winger by trade, but he can really play anywhere along the front line, and he has been in fine form in Italy this season, racking up 12 goals and eight assists in 31 appearances in all competitions for Fiorentina.

Liverpool currently have an incredibly talented front three, but more competition is required for the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, if they are to achieve success on a regular basis over the upcoming years.

And whilst the reported fee of £86 million seems like a heck of a lot of money, in today’s day and age, it would actually represent decent value for money for Liverpool.
