Masouras only joined Olympiakos from Greek Superleague rivals Panionios in January and he could join Premier League-bound Norwich City.

Norwich City have identified Olympiakos winger Georgios Masouras as a potential transfer target if they are promoted to the Premier League this year, according to SDNA.

With eight games to go, Daniel Farke’s Canaries are still flying high at the top of the table with a five point buffer between themselves and Leeds United in third place.

Norwich have been in sensational form since the turn of the year and appear to be cruising back to the Premier League. And if, or when, they get there, the Anglian outfit are expected to make an approach for the highly rated Masouras.

A 25-year-old wideman who has played once for the Greek national team, Masouras only joined Olympiakos two months ago from league rivals Panionios. He has scored 10 times in all competitions this season from a total of 27 games.

Given that Masouras is under contract until 2022, the Piraeus-based club will surely expect a substantial fee for a player they recently spent just shy of £1 million on.

Norwich have signed a whole host of little known players since the arrivals of Farke and Stuart Webber in 2017 and the majority, such as Emi Buendia, Teemu Pukki and Marco Stiepermann, have been a roaring success at Carrow Road.
