Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing the Leicester City full-back.

According to a report from Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato, Liverpool are interested in signing Leicester City full-back Ben Chilwell, and some Reds fans took to Twitter in response to the speculation.
The 22-year-old has been in fine form for the Foxes this season, but whether he is worth the reported fee of £75 million (Telegraph) is highly doubtful.
Liverpool already have Andy Robertson, so spending such a large amount of money on someone who would only be acting as the Scot’s understudy would surely be nothing short of madness from Jürgen Klopp.
Chilwell is undoubtedly a really top class performer, but do the Merseyside outfit need him?
The answer to that question is most probably no.

Liverpool have young Adam Lewis currently doing really well with the youth team, and Klopp might be better served in using him as Robertson’s deputy next term.
