HITC Sport understands a number of English and Scottish sides are tracking Barnsley winger Ryan Hedges
Ryan Hedges in action for Wales against Trinidad and Tobago
Hedges is out of contract at Barnsley this summer and has yet to agree a new deal at Oakwell alerting his suitors in England and Scotland.
The 23-year-old enhanced his growing reputation with a man-of-the-match performance on his full Wales debut in Wednesday's friendly win over Trinidad and Tobago in Wrexham with his display impressing a number of scouts in attendance at the game.
Hedges is an attractive proposition for Scottish Premiership clubs as they would not have to pay any compensation for the attacker if he joined them on a free transfer this summer.
Hedges, who joined Barnsley from Swansea in January 2017, has made over 50 appearances for the Tykes and he is highly-regarded at Oakwell.
The versatile attacker has made 19 appearances in all competitions so far this season and played a key role in Barnsley's push for promotion back to the Championship this term.
Barnsley would be reluctant to lose the skilful forward, but they are expecting Hedges to receive offers with his contract soon expiring.
