CD Projekt Red has said Cyberpunk 2077 won’t be an Epic Games Store exclusive as they want many gamers to play it on their platform of choice.
While gamers are currently enraged about The Outer Worlds being exclusive to the Epic Games Store on PC for a year, they’ll be happy to know that CD Projekt Red has insisted that Cyberpunk 2077 will be available to “as many gamers as possible on their platform of choice”.

When responding to a query about Cyberpunk 2077 possibly being exclusive to the Epic Games Store along with The Outer Worlds and Metro Exodus, CD Projekt Red’s Global Community Lead Marcin Momot insisted that the developer’s ambition is for many gamers to be able to play the title on their platform of choice.
This doesn’t necessarily mean CD Projekt Red are immune to changing their minds down the road, but – as of right now – Cyberpunk 2077 is not intended to be an Epic Games Store exclusive on PC when it releases.
In other CD Projekt Red news, the developer has confirmed they still plan to release Cyberpunk 2077 as well as another AAA game by 2021, and you can check out the latest news and rumours that point to their highly-anticipated foray into sci-fi having a 2019 release date by clicking here.
