Sega has announced the newest mainline Yakuza entry that will star new protagonist Ichiban Kasuga.

Yesterday we found out the Japanese release date for Yakuza 5 on the PS4, and today Sega has announced a new Yakuza game that will star Yakuza Online protagonist Ichiban Kasuga. The announcement comes via an official page for auditions for any Japanese females hoping to be a part of the new mainline Yakuza title.

Per the audition page (via Siliconera), the newest Yakuza game will be on the PlayStation 4, and it will star Ichiban Kasuga. There’s no word on if Kazuma Kiryu will still be involved or if he’ll be entirely absent, but the audition seeks Japanese ladies over 20 to the play the role of “main-class characters” and appear in the game as the “hero’s friends”.

The application deadline for the audition is April 21, 2019.

In other Sega news, Atlus has confirmed a bunch of events and exhibitions for Persona 5 at Sega Fes 2019, but you should watch out for a Persona 5 R reveal before Sega’s showcase on March 23.
