Tameze was set to swap Ligue 1 outfit Nice for Premier League survival hopefuls Cardiff City in January, only for the deal to fall through.

Cardiff City are keen on kick-starting a £10 million deal for Nice midfielder Adrien Tameze in the summer transfer window, according to Wales Online.
A 25-year-old Frenchman, Tameze has been one of the breakout stars in Ligue 1 this season, impressing under Patrick Vieira in the red and black of Nice.
He has even been compared to Jean Michel Seri, the former Eaglets playmaker who joined Fulham for a huge fee last summer, with his impressive passing range and combative style earning him plenty of admirers.
Tameze was close to joining Cardiff in January but, despite agreeing an eventual £10 million fee, talks broke down, according to The Mail.

But it seems that the move is not totally off the cards. Tameze is still a target for The Bluebirds, according to Wales Online, with Nice’s penny-pinching owners tempted to cash in on one of the club’s prized assets at the end of the season.
Tameze would be a direct replacement for Aron Gunnarsson, the experienced Icelandic international who will leave South Wales when his contract expires in July.
