A 24-year-old winger, March has caught the eye this season with his old-school approach. The former England U21 international is something of a throwback, a wide man with chalk on his boots who likes nothing more than to beat full-backs on the touchline.
He was instrumental off the bench as Brighton came from two goals down to beat Millwall in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday, scoring a last-gasp equaliser as his floated free-kick slipped through the arms of goalkeeper David Martin. That was March’s first goal of the season.
And TEAMtalk believe that the former Lewes youngster has impressed Arsenal’s scouts. They believe that March could make an immediate impression in Unai Emery’s first-team next season should the move come to fruition.
TEAMtalk points out that March is under contract until 2022, Brighton managing to tie him down last summer to ward off interest from Fulham.
From the Cottagers to the Gunners, it seems that March is a player whose reputation is on the up.
