The Bournemouth defender is currently on loan at Aston Villa, but could return to England’s south coast with Southampton next season.

Southampton are keen on taking Tyrone Mings from Bournemouth when his Aston Villa loan spell ends this summer, according to the Daily Mirror (17/03, page 72).
Mings is reviving his career at Aston Villa after an injury hit spell at Bournemouth.
But his displays at Villa Park appear to have attracted the interest of others, and the Villans may require promotion this season if they are to compete with the likes of Southampton for the centre-back’s signature.
Aston Villa have an agreement with Bournemouth allowing them to match any rivals offers for Mings in the summer transfer window, the Daily Mirror reported in January.
Southampton’s options in the 26-year-old’s position currently comprise Jan Bednarek, Jannik Vestergaard, Maya Yoshida and Jack Stephens.

Mings, who cost around £10 million in 2015, according to Transfermarkt, can also play left-back, however.
The former Ipswich Town player signed a new long-term contract with Southampton’s south coast rivals two years ago, which is said to run until 2022.
