Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood showed a nice piece of skill against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood has taken to Twitter to explain his audacious piece of skill against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon.
Wednesday maintained their good run of form under manager Steve Bruce with a 4-2 victory over Blackburn at the Hillsborough Stadium in the Championship.
It was quite a comfortable win for the Owls, who are now very much in contention of a playoff spot.
Wednesday are 10th in the Championship table at the moment with 55 points from 38 matches, just two points behind Aston Villa, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.
During the game, Wednesday goalkeeper Westwood showed an audacious piece of skill, as shown below on Twitter.
It was quite a risky move from the 34-year-old former Sunderland goalkeeper, and he has joked that he has been watching Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson.
Chelsea-owned Wednesday central defender Michael Hector, though, has pointed out to Westwood that the whistle has already been blown.
been watching Ederson at Man City the look the gaffer gave me, thought he was gona kill me https://t.co/npGIZQkHVc— Keiren Westwood (@WestwoodKeiren) March 16, 2019
