Wolverhampton Wanderers-owned Aston Villa central defender Kortney Hause has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Middlesbrough at home.
Hause, who joined Villa on loan from Premier League club Wolves in the January transfer window, started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The 23-year-old central defender has been playing well for Dean Smith’s side in recent weeks, and against Boro at Villa Park, the youngster was superb again.
The defender marshalled the backline, showed a lot of maturity, and kept the Middlesbrough attacker at bay.
According to WhoScored, against Middlesbrough on Saturday, Hause had a pass accuracy of 82.4%, won four headers, made two interceptions and six clearances.
The win against Tony Pulis’s side means that Villa are sixth in the Championship table at the moment with 57 points from 38 matches.
Hause has taken to Twitter to revel in the win against Boro, and some Villa fans have responded to his message.
4 games, 3 clean sheets, 12 points going into the international break. It’s only right I shake a leg tonight. Fans were unbelievable again. Enjoy your weekend #partofthepride #powerhause pic.twitter.com/qb10FrgP4I— Kortney Hause (@Kortney_30) March 16, 2019
