Wyness was recently the chief executive of Derby’s Championship rivals Villa and knows the division well.

Derby County sale
Derby are a massive club in England, but the Rams have been stuck in the Championship for a while now.
Frank Lampard’s side are very much in the race for the Championship playoffs this season, but it is going to be hard for the Rams to get over the line.
Morris has invested in the squad at Derby, but things have not gone according to plan.
According to The Times, Derby are losing around £3 million a month, and one can understand why Morris is reportedly open to selling the club in the summer if the Rams fail to clinch promotion to the Premier League.
