Steven Gerrard's Rangers are out of the Scottish Cup.
Rangers suffered a galling home defeat this week to exit the Scottish Cup.
Steven Gerrard's men were shut out at Ibrox by Aberdeen, losing 2-0.
Gerrard has taken some flak for the loss, but Rangers legend Derek Ferguson has made clear he holds the clubs star players to blame.
He accuses them of cracking under pressure and failing to step up.
Ferguson told Open Goal: "For Rangers, you expect your big players to turn up on that night. It was the most important game of the season and for whatever reasons it never happened.
"You’ve got to handle the pressure, that’s why you’re at Rangers."
Ferguson's son Lewis was in action for Aberdeen, and helped frustrate Rangers.
Rangers were beaten by Aberdeen in the Scottish League Cup semi-final.
Steven Gerrard has now won just one of six games against the Dons this season in all competitions.
