“Kingdom Hearts 3” – Square Enix are replacing Olaf's voice

Kingdom Hearts 3 Frozen Olaf

Square Enix are replacing the voice used for Olaf in Kingdom Hearts 3 thanks to the original actor's recent arrest.

Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts 3 is a good game despite there being some problems nobody admits. Since its release, director Tetsuya Nomura has suggested there will be another spin-off before Kingdom Hearts 4, as well as confirmed why there were no Final Fantasy characters. Now the publisher is changing Olaf’s voice from Frozen in the Japanese version following the original actor’s recent arrest.

Per Siliconera, Pierre Taki was recently arrested after testing positive for cocaine and admitting to using the drug. This has resulted in Sega momentarily pausing the shipment and digital sales for the heavily anticipated Yakuza spin-off Judgement, and now Square Enix has announced that Taki’s voice performance for Kingdom Hearts 3 will be replaced.

In other Kingdom Hearts 3 news, the creator of Gravity Falls once called the series an abomination that proves God doesn’t exist, and Nomura has explained why it was impossible to include Star Wars and The Avengers.
