Marvel's Avengers: Endgame is now less than a month away, folks! 2019's biggest film hits UK cinemas on April 25 and excitement about the fourth film in the Avengers series is building more and more each day
11 years and 21 films have led up to this momentous occasion and film fans all over the world will surely wait with bated breath to see if Thanos can indeed be defeated after the traumatic conclusion to 2018's Avengers: Infinity War.
Presumably, 2019's Endgame will pick up the story threads from where Infinity War left off, which leaves the remaining Avengers as complete underdogs in the final battle against the great Titan, Thanos.
Most of the cast from Infinity War are set to return for Endgame but who knows how many will be left standing once the final credits roll.
In one huge effort to tease the upcoming Endgame, Marvel released a staggering 32 new posters this week revealing just who had fallen to Thanos's snap and who's left alive to avenge their fallen comrades.
One shock revelation was that Wakanda's lead scientist and sister to King T'Challa, Shuri, had fallen victim to Thanos's attack.
Meanwhile, we also learned that Thor: Ragnarok's Valkryie will be returning in Endgame after she was absent throughout Infinity War.
The Twitter thread containing all 32 character posters can be found just below.
In the directing chairs for Endgame are the Russo brothers. Joe and Anthony Russo have been responsible for arguably two of the best MCU movies to date in Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. The pair have been given the monumental task of rounding off the latest phase of the MCU with Endgame and its sure to be one of the biggest cinematic events in history.
Joining the already huge cast will be Brie Larson, star of the MCU's latest blockbuster, Captain Marvel. As one of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain Marvel will almost certainly help turn the tide for the Avengers in their climactic battle with Thanos.
However, we're still going to have to wait a few more weeks before we get to see the remaining Avengers in action once again as Avengers: Endgame will be released on April 25, 2019 in the UK.
I'm sure Marvel fans won't mind though and will be flooding cinemas upon the release of Endgame next month.

Synopsis: Avengers: Endgame will conclude the story started in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War and will see the remaining Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy team up once again for a climactic battle with Thanos.
Unlike Disney's other tentpole franchise, Star Wars, Marvel's Avengers: Endgame has had plenty of teasers and trailers released so far.
In December, we had the very first trailer for Endgame where we also learned of the film's title for the first time. In the trailer we see the Avengers dealing with the aftermath of Thanos's finger-snap that wiped out half of the universe's population.
Next up we got a second glimpse of Endgame during the 2019 Superbowl. As is customary, several films show off little sneak peeks at America's premier sporting event and the fourth Avengers film was no different. The teaser was much shorter than the first trailer but hinted at a much darker tone likely to be present in the film.
We also have last week's official trailer for Avengers: Endgame. The trailer doesn't hide away from filling fans with nostalgia as we are shown several moments from the MCU's past, most notably clips from Captain America: The First Avenger, Civil War and 2008's Iron Man.
On top of that, we get a great glimpse at the Avengers looking bad-ass in their new suits and for those who've seen the post-credits scenes of Captain Marvel, we see an extension of that where Carol Danvers is introduced to Thor, the Avenger's most powerful hero so far.
Shortly after the release of the second main trailer for Endgame, we got another TV spot which is essentially a remix of the trailer above, reminding viewers of the terrible destruction that Thanos caused in Infinity War.
The TV spot also gives us another glimpse at the Avengers' swanky new suits.
And finally, we have the latest featurette from the Marvel marketing department.
We don't really see anything new but we do get the Avengers cast members and Marvel big-wig Kevin Feige discussing the implications and the fallout from Avengers: Infinity War and how Earth's mightiest heroes have all had to come to terms with the loss they faced at the hands of Thanos.
