The release date for Devil May Cry 5's Bloody Palace has just been announced, and it's not a bad April Fools joke.
Devil May Cry 5 was one of 2019’s most anticipated games, but it has exceeded even my wildest expectations thanks to its wicked music, awesome combat, and insane boss fights. Before its release, Capcom confirmed that Bloody Palace was the only post-launch content they were working on, and now the publisher has confirmed on Twitter when it will be added.
Attention demon hunters! Prepare to get downright demonic because Bloody Palace mode will be available as a free update to all Devil May Cry 5 owners starting April 1, 2019— Capcom UK (@Capcom_UK) March 14, 2019
And just to stress, this is not an early April’s Fools joke #DMC5 #DevilMayCry5 pic.twitter.com/fM2DVb7NGd
Per the tweet above, Bloody Palace launches on April 1. If you don’t know what it is, it’s a free mode where you fight waves of enemies and bosses that increase in difficulty as you advance further up the palace. Pretty much, your mission is to survive all the way to the top while attaining as many SSS ranks as possible.
A recent datamine hinted at co-op matchmaking and a new playable character, but neither have been confirmed by Capcom.
In other Devil May Cry 5 news, a recent mod has added a Japanese exclusive Devil Breaker, and you can read our ranking of its three protagonists Nero, V, and Dante by clicking here.
