Liverpool have been linked to Nicolas Tagliafico.

Liverpool have been linked to Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico, report Spanish outlet Don Balon.

Tagliafico has impressed for the Dutch side since joining from Independiente last summer.

He is thriving in his first taste of European football and clubs are reportedly lining up for him this summer.

Liverpool might not stand a fair chance.

He would be a tremendous upgrade for the Reds on back-up Alberto Moreno.

However, this is the problem, Tagliafico will not want to be a stand-in.

Andrew Robertson is so good, that he is the clear first choice for the Reds.

His form and status at Liverpool will scare off Tagliafico, and other potential left-back signings.

This could leave Liverpool using youngster Adam Lewis. Perhaps it’s exactly what they need.
