Norwich City fans on Twitter have praised Leeds United for once again putting the pressure on in the race to earn promotion after their 3-0 win against Reading on Tuesday night.
Marcelo Bielsa's side moved to the top of the Championship table after an impressive performance against the Royals, but they can be leapfrogged by the Canaries if they beat Hull on Wednesday evening.
It is looking highly likely that two of the Championship's current top three will finish in the automatic places, with Leeds top on 73 points, Norwich one point behind in second and third-placed Sheffield United on 71 points after their home win against Brentford.
One Norwich fan stated that Leeds have been 'fairly impressive again', while another urged his team to get the job done against the Tigers.
Another Norwich fan expressed how he felt by aptly stating that there is 'so much anxiety' as the pressure builds to earn promotion to the promised land.
Others pointed towards Leeds' home clash against Sheffield United at the weekend which is going to have massive bearings on who finishes in the top two.
Here is a selection of Norwich fans on Twitter reacting to Leeds beating Reading:
No one's blinking tonight! Up to us again tomorrow night ! Let's get back to battering opponents ! Leeds hitting the straps lately . #ncfc— Marc (@marcohendy) March 12, 2019
Sheffield United's defence is seriously impressive. Leeds have stopped conceding. Ffs. So much anxiety. #ncfc— Craig Ruggles (@TheRug85) March 12, 2019
Relentless at the top, both Sheffield United and Leeds winning. As we did winning Friday, they've now put the pressure on us to win tomorrow. These last few games are going to shred every nerve. #ncfc— Jonathan parker (@Jparker7398) March 12, 2019
Sheffield United's defence doing the business for them at the moment - 6 clean sheets in a row at home. Leeds looked at their best. But something will have to give on Saturday. Anyway, let's do our bit tomorrow and keep up the pace. #NCFC #OTBC— Sam Hunt (@SWH980) March 12, 2019
We desperately need Leeds to smash Sheffield at the weekend #ncfc— Ginja (@ginjadave) March 12, 2019
Terrible results tonight but not unexpected. However, it wouldn't be unexpected if we win our next two and Leeds beat Sheff U on Saturday which would leave us 7 points clear of 3rd. Have to trust our boys to get the job done. #ncfc— Jonathan Cable (@Carra_Rud) March 12, 2019
Tonights results dont really surprise me (I just wish Brentford werent so poor ), but its up to us to keep the pressure up by getting 3 points tomorrow. Also got to remember Leeds & Sheff Utd play each other on Saturday too... #ncfc— The Norfolk Sonic (@Ginger_Canary) March 12, 2019
Up to us now. No excuses for not beating Hull at home then it’s parity restored with another game gone and Leeds v Blades on Saturday #ncfc— Swaffham Nick (@Englander1512) March 12, 2019
During their last league match, Daniel Farke's men recorded a narrow win against Swansea City, who were the better team on the night and produced the best chances.
Nonetheless, defeat against Hull City on Wednesday will just result in the race for automatic's going deeper and deeper into the season and potentially into the last day.
