Trevor Brooking speaks prior to the Premier League match between West Ham United and Liverpool at London Stadium on November 4, 2017 in London, England.

West Ham legend Trevor Brooking spoke to BBC Radio Five Live on Monday night, and praised Manuel Lanzini, suggesting that the Argentine is his favourite player .

Sir Trevor Brooking suggested that the mercurial Argentine is his favourite player, when speaking exclusively to BBC Radio Five Live on Monday night:

Manuel Lanzini of West Ham United returns to Rush Green to continue his Re Hab on September 12, 2018 in Romford, England.

“Now Lanzini – my favourite player – came back at the weekend and was excellent."

West Ham currently sit in ninth spot in the Premier League table, four points adrift of seventh placed Wolves, and if they are to have any chance whatsoever of earning Europa League football for next season, Lanzini will have to be on his very best form between now and May.
