Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in Copenhagen’s Robert Skov.

Sky Sports broke the news on Monday that Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham, Watford and Wolverhampton Wanderers are all chasing the prolific Robert Skov. But who is he?

The statistics certainly look positive. The Denmark U21 international has scored a staggering 24 goals in all competitions this season, a tally that appears even more impressive when you consider that he usually lines up on the right wing.

But, apart from clinical finishing and picture perfect free-kicks, what would Skov bring to Tottenham, Wolves and co?

As reported by Soccer News, the 22-year-old is often compared to Dennis Rommedahl in his homeland, a bona fide Danish legend who won 126 caps for his country while representing the likes of PSV, Charlton Athletic and Ajax.

This speaks volumes – largely about the fact that Skov packs explosive pace.

Rommedahl was one of the fastest players around in his heyday and it seems Skov shares the same ability to leave opposition full-backs choking on his dust.

But could Skov be on his way to exceeding one of the greatest players in the history of Danish football? Rommedahl never scored more than 12 goals in a single season after all and Skov has already doubled that tally.
