West Bromwich Albion coach Graeme Jones has been approached by the League One high-flyers on two previous occasions.

Luton Town plan to make a third approach for West Brom coach Graeme Jones at the end of the season, according to a report from The Sun on Sunday (3/3; page 61).

Jones only moved to the Hawthorns to be Darren Moore's assistant towards the end of last summer after around two years as part of the Belgium national team setup.

But already he has received two approaches from the Hatters following Nathan Jones's move to the Baggies' Championship rivals Stoke City earlier in the campaign.

And The Sun on Sunday (3/3; page 61) reports that Luton will make a fresh move for the 48-year-old at the end of the season with Mick Harford unlikely to stay in the role - even if he manages to guide the club to promotion out of League One.

The report adds that Jones is keen to get his own managerial career off and running. So perhaps he may be tempted to take the job if Luton do indeed come calling in the summer.

It would be a blow for the Baggies to lose Jones if he does depart in the coming months. He boasts a lot of experience so is arguably a good foil for Moore, who is of course in his first job as a number one.
