Rangers goalkeeper Aiden McAdams made his senior debut on Saturday.

The 19-year-old, on loan at Annan Athletic from Rangers, enjoyed a winning start on his professional bow as the League Two side beat Queen’s Park 2-1 yesterday.

McAdams joined the Gers in 2017 after being on Celtic’s books from the age of eight.

McAdams snubbed a number of offers from English clubs when swapping Celtic for Rangers, according to The Scottish Sun.

The teenager was impressing in the light Blues’ youth side prior to joining Annan on loan and it’ll be interesting to see what the future holds for him.

Leaving the Hoops is always a big gamble for a young player, but probably the right decision.

There are a number of very promising goalkeepers on the green half of the Old Firm divide – including Conor Hazard and Ross Doohan, both of whom are only 20 years old.
