A recent role description strongly suggests Rockstar Games are making Bully 2.
Although Rockstar Games is currently in the news for its most recent update to the good, bad, and ugly Red Dead Online, there were job positions on the studio’s official website not too long ago which suggested they were preparing for the next Grand Theft Auto and Bully 2 on the next-generation of consoles. Now the rumours about a sequel to the once “controversial” hit Bully are again rampant with Pinewood Studios appearing to have listed casting calls for the long-anticipated follow-up.
According to Comicbook, Pinewood Studios (a prestigious UK studio involved in TV and film, as well as rumoured to be assisting Rockstar with Bully 2) are “seeking [a] young German/Dutch/Scandinavian male voice talent for an English-language video game project.” The official listing describes the supporting character as a 13-17 year old boy who is the “friend” of one of our lead characters at school, but their relationship is “toxic” as his chum is a “bully”.
This obviously suggests Bully 2 is being made, so hopefully we’ll get an official confirmation in the near-future.
