Rangers duo Daniel Candeias and Ryan Jack praised for recent performances.

Neil McCann has told the Evening Times he is hugely impressed with Rangers wingers Daniel Candeias and Ryan Kent.

Alfredo Morelos’ recent strong form has attracted big praise, and McCann also had positive words for the Colombian, labelling him the best striker in Scotland.

The pundit expressed that Kent and Candeias deserve huge credit for Rangers’ recent form too.

Since their 0-0 draw against St Johnstone, Rangers have scored 14 goals in three games.

McCann said: “I think Candeias is a success story, I like his work rate and he has the attributes to survive in Scottish football.

“He can deal with the physicality, he puts himself around and as a wide player you have to work. That is a given. There are not many wide players that get away with that.

“Kent on the other side has been a fantastic signing and he has grown as well. You see certain things in his game that only comes from confidence.”

Candeias in particular has a strong link up with Morelos, providing three assists for his four goals against Kilmarnock.

Kent is on loan from Rangers manager Steven Gerrard’s former club Liverpool, and it is unclear if the Gers will be able to sign him permanently in the summer.

Right now he is giving Rangers every reason to want to sign him. Along with Candeias, he has scored five goals this season.
