Weah has impressed since joining Celtic on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.

Timothy Weah has told Celtic fans in his latest Instagram post that he and Odsonne Edouard are “living the dream” at Parkhead after helping his side earn a 2-1 win over Hearts.

Neil Lennon took to the dugout for the first time in his second spell as Celtic manager and watched on as the Hoops earned a last-gasp win thanks to Edouard’s late winner.

Celtic had taken the lead despite being somewhat on the back foot, as an excellent counter-attacking move saw Oliver Burke give James Forrest an easy tap-in with an excellent pass.

Weah came off the bench to feature for the last nine minutes of the win, as Scott Brown’s excellent cross was volleyed into the net by Edouard after Oliver Bozanic had equalised from the penalty spot. The American posted on Instagram.

Weah has now played 10 times for Celtic in all competitions, scoring three goals. His highlight at the club has to be coming off the bench to score and provide an assist in the 2-0 win over St. Johnstone.

The USA international’s loan will end in the summer and it remains to be seen whether he will remain at the club beyond then. He is expected to be on the bench once again on Saturday against Hibernian.
