Kamara scored his first goal for Rangers against former side Dundee on Wednesday night.
Glen Kamara continued his excellent start to life at Rangers with his first goal for the club on Wednesday night against former side Dundee – and he has earned the applause of impending Gers recruit Jordan Jones.
Kamara, 23, got on the end of a free-kick from captain James Tavernier, diverting the ball into the back of the net on the volley from 10 yards to give Rangers the lead early on.
Goals from Tavernier himself, Alfredo Morelos – which was his 28th of the season – and fellow new signing Jermain Defoe gave the Teddy Bears another excellent victory, making it three on the spin in which they have scored 14 goals.
Kamara posted on Instagram after the match, stating that he was delighted to open his account for the Gers in his fourth appearance since Steven Gerrard and Rangers opted to sign him now – rather than wait till the summer.
Unlike Kamara, Jones has remained at his current club in Kilmarnock after signing a pre-contract agreement. The Northern Ireland international will join Rangers in the summer and rival the likes of Jamie Murphy and Daniel Candeias.
Jones commented on Kamara’s Instagram post, stating the Finland international and former Arsenal star is “flying” after an excellent start to life at Ibrox.
