CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 was announced more than five years ago, so naturally there’s a lot of hype and anticipation surrounding its release especially after the success of The Witcher 3. We’ve seen an incredible 48-minutes of gameplay that stopped all the backlash about it being first-person only, and hopefully we’ll see some more footage and get an official release window in the near future as CD Projekt Red has confirmed on Twitter that Cyberpunk 2077 will be at E3 2019.
For those of you asking, yes, we will be at E3 this year.— Cyberpunk 2077 (@CyberpunkGame) February 28, 2019
As you can see in the tweet above, the anticipated cyberpunk RPG is confirmed to be at the industry’s biggest showcase. This was never really in doubt, but at least fans now have confirmation so they can stop worrying about the developers skipping the event like Sony.
Other games that could be revealed and shown at E3 include the much rumoured Batman Arkham Crisis, Rocksteady's "high profile, triple-A game franchise", and Square Enix’s MAJOR title set to launch before the end of 2019. Microsoft are also supposedly planning to reveal their next-gen consoles at the event.
