Leeds United have two games this week and youngster Robbie Gotts could be in line for a continued first team role.

Gotts was named on the bench for Leeds at the weekend. This was the eighth game he has been a substitute this season.

The 19-year-old is still waiting for his debut.

Last night Leeds' under-23 side beat Newcastle in the Premier League Cup.

Leif Davis and Jordan Stevens dropped down from their roles on the first team bench at the weekend, to start the game.

Gotts did not, indicating he will continue with the first team squad, and Davis and Stevens are the ones to make way for Gaetano Berardi and Barry Douglas' returns.

The youngster is highly rated, and is useful for Marcelo Bielsa as he can play on the wing, or at right-back.

However the returns of Berardi, and also Stuart Dallas, actually pushes him down the pecking order.

Gotts should fancy his chances of getting a few minutes considering Leeds have two games in four days.

Yet after the way it has gone recently, he could be left as an unused substitute in both.

If Leeds do not play him at all tonight against QPR, it's even less likely he features against West Brom.
