Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has hit back at a shock report.

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has moved quickly to shoot down rumours that he could sell the club if they fail to win promotion.
The Whites are in a strong position to go up this season after beating Bolton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon, meaning they sit level on points with second-placed Sheffield United.
Marcelo Bielsa has masterminded a promotion push this season, and with a game in hand on Sheffield United, Leeds will be confident that they can return to the Premier League after a 15-year absence.
However, the Daily Mail reported on Monday night that owner Radrizzani may have to sell the club this summer if the club can’t win promotion.
It was noted that Radrizzani is unlikely to be able to fund another push for promotion next season, and boss Marcelo Bielsa would leave the club too if promotion wasn’t achieved.
Leeds fans would understandably have been worried by such reports, but owner Radrizzani has taken to Twitter to completely shoot down the rumours in rapid fashion.

The Italian has claimed that the report is ‘nonsense’ created just to ‘attack’ and unsettle Leeds and their promotion bid, adding that he has great success with Eleven Sports and future plans for Leeds.
Radrizzani added that nothing will take him away from his ambitions at Leeds, and believes that whatever doesn’t kill Leeds will make them stronger – hinting that there would be another push coming even if promotion isn’t secured this season.
