Arsenal fans react to rumours linking Monchi with Emirates switch

Arsenal allegedly want to appoint the Spaniard as the club's technical director.

According to a report from the Mirror, Arsenal are set to offer Roma man Monchi the technical director role, in full expectation that he will take it, and some Gunners fans took to Twitter in response to the speculation.

The 50-year-old has worked wonders during spells with Sevilla and Roma, and has forged a reputation for working minor miracles with limited budgets.

 

Arsenal are in transition as a football club, having replaced Arsene Wenger with Unai Emery last summer, and there have been rumours that the Spaniard will have to work with limited funds over the next few transfer windows.

Enter Monchi.

The Spaniard would surely be a fantastic coup for the Gunners, and the north London outfit would have to pay just £1 million compensation to Roma in order to acquire his services, according to the Mirror
