The BBC comedy’s second series starts on 4 March and will pick up from the protagonist’s breakdown at season one’s end.

BBC’s brilliant dark comedy ‘Fleabag’ is set to return to UK screens on 4 March starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge as the eponymous central character and picking up from her breakdown at the end of season one.

Fleabag had a disastrous end to season one, having alienated her friends and going through a breakdown. Show sources say the second season will continue in a darker vein and see her go through more hardship.
