Leeds United’s Jamie Shackleton has shown promise this season.

Leeds United have been flying under Marcelo Bielsa this season, and he has embraced the club’s youth prospects over the course of the campaign.

Jack Clarke is the main name who has risen from the youth academy into first team stardom this season, but there are others emerging too.

Jamie Shackleton has made 19 first team appearances for Leeds this season, and his career has been transformed by boss Bielsa.

The 19-year-old was a midfielder when Bielsa arrived, but has converted into a defender, starring with his forward runs from the right back position.

Most of Shackleton’s recent appearances have been as a substitute, but he has done enough to earn a rating boost in FIFA 19’s latest squad update.

Shackleton has been boosted from 61 to 62 overall and 78 to 79 in potential, and has received increases in six other areas.

Aggression, dribbling, marking, reactions, sprint speed and strength have all been boosted for Shackleton, with his potential even eclipsing that of Izzy Brown.

For Leeds playing Career Mode, Shackleton is becoming even more important as a prospect to develop, and the same can be said in real life as Shackleton thrives under Bielsa.
