Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are reportedly interested in David Brooks of Bournemouth.
According to The Mirror, Tottenham and United are interested in signing Brooks from Premier League rivals Bournemouth in the summer of 2019.
It has been reported that Spurs are preparing a £50 million bid for the 21-year-old Wales international winger.
Former Crystal Palace and Queens Park Rangers manager Holloway has spoken highly of Brooks.
Holloway said about Brooks on the Drive show on talkSPORT last Friday (5:27pm, February 15, 2019): “David Brooks, who was signed for Bournemouth. Played against Chelsea the other week. Absolutely outstanding. The kid has been fantastic. What a player!”
Brooks joined Bournemouth from Sheffield United in the Championship in England in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee reported by The Mirror to be worth £11.5 million.
The 21-year-old’s performances in the Premier League for the Cherries have been very encouraging, and there is no surprise that Tottenham and United are reported to be interested in securing the services of the Wales international in the summer of 2019.
So far this season, Brooks has made 21 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Bournemouth, scoring six goals and providing four assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
