Reece Oxford left Premier League outfit West Ham United to return to the Bundesliga in January, joining Augsburg on loan.

Augsburg came so close to causing a shock against Bayern Munich on Friday night.
Twice they took the lead against the quaking Bundesliga champions, only to lose 3-2 in front of their own supporters thanks to a Kingsley Coman brace and a second-half winner from the rampaging David Alaba.
But that does not mean the Augsburg fans were not proud of their sides efforts against a Bayern side who’s defence must be shaking about the prospect of coming up against Liverpool on Tuesday.
The hosts more than held their own and Reece Oxford, the talented defender signed on loan from West Ham last month, epitomised their display.
The 20-year-old returned to Germany on deadline day after falling out of favour at West Ham but his display against Bayern, during which he effectively shackled the prolific Robert Lewandowski, offered a timely reminder about why he was once tipped for the very top at the London Stadium.
No wonder Augsburg’s official Twitter account singled Oxford out for praise.
We won't let our heads drop after a superb effort from @Reeceoxford_ and Co. last night!

Making his second appearance since moving to Augsburg on loan, Oxford is showing real signs of improvement already. He endured a nightmare debut a week earlier, going down 4-0 to Werder Bremen and being left on his backside as Albanian winger Milot Rashica scored his second of the game.
The next step is to get a point or three on the board.
