Stan Collymore has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Aston Villa’s defeat to West Bromwich Albion.

Villa went down 2-0 to West Brom at Villa Park in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Hal Robson-Kanu put the Baggies in the lead in the 41st minute, and Jay Rodriguez doubled the advantage for the visiting team on the stroke of half time.

Former Villa striker Collymore was following the match, and he has strongly criticised the Villans.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Villa had 63% of the possession, took 11 shots of which two were on target, and earned nine corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors West Brom had 37% of the possession, took 10 shots of which three were on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.

The result means that while the Baggies are fourth in the Championship table, Villa are as low as 10th in the standings and are unlikely to finish in the playoffs.
