Ipswich Town supporters have responded to Teddy Bishop on Twitter, after the midfielder took to social media to tell the fans how his side are still fighting following their 1-1 draw with Derby County.
The Tractor Boys are cut adrift at the bottom of the Championship table, but under manager Paul Lambert they have shown a never-say-die attitude and they thoroughly deserved their point against the Rams.
Derby took an early lead through former Ipswich loan star Tom Lawrence, yet the home side battled back and dominated for a good hour, equalising via substitute Jon Nolan midway through the second period.
Despite a late rally from the visitors, Ipswich held firm and secured a morale-boosting result coming off the back of their 3-0 derby defeat at Norwich City last weekend.
Academy graduate Bishop cited it as a good point, while supporters responded praising the midfielder.

Excellent tonight mate.... this run of games you’re building is allowing you to return the player we all know you are.— Phil Pritchard (@Phil_Pritchard) February 13, 2019
Bishop was full of energy at Portman Road, outperforming Derby’s more experienced midfielders Andy King and Bradley Johnson as he posted two tackles, three clearances and was fouled three times (Whoscored).
The Tractor Boys have certainly shown more fight and aggression under Lambert. Despite being all-but assured of relegation, fans are seemingly appreciative of the effort they are giving on a weekly basis.
The draw leaves Ipswich ten points behind Reading whose 2-1 home victory over Blackburn Rovers lifted them above Rotherham United into 21st position in the Championship table.
